Bobby Vs. Dan
Early on in the tournament Dan
faced Bobby. in the first round Dan looked as though he
was going to take the match. However in the 2nd round
Bobby tied it up, and in the third round Bobby would destroy him
with a perfect victory, finishing him with a big
combo.
Jake Vs. Sam
Round won was very close but went
to Jake. In the second round they lasted so long that the
time ran out on them. I didn't even know there was a time
limit until this happened. Jake would take the round and
the match.
Dan Vs. Heath
I figured that the winner of this
match was going to be the one to give Jason a good run at the
end. In the first round Heath was doing very well, but Dan
came back from behind to take the round. In
the second round Dan continued with his momentum and landed more
team combos, but this time it would be Heath who would come back
and get the win. In the third round Dan would finish Heath
off and take the match.
David Vs. Bobby
Ever since we have head
tournaments David and Bobby have come to almost all of
them. For years I have known them. What I did not
know until now was that they are cousins. I suppose
it doesn't really surprise me, but I am surprised that I never
knew. Any way this was a great match. David took
round one and Bobby took round two. Then in a very close
third round David would get the victory. This victory for
David would tie him for 5th.
Jason Vs. Heath
Even though the final match would
be between Dan and Jason I think Heath gave Jason the best run
of the night. Jason quickly smashed through all the other competition
with Tiffany. In this match how ever Heath would make it
interesting. Heath, who used Powered Akira in the match
came close to taking the First round. However Jason would
take the lead. In the second round Heath would find his
groove and dominate the round two tie things up. In
the third round Jason would take back the momentum and take the
round and the match.
Dylan Vs. Heath
In Dylan's previous match against
Jay, Jay would give Dylan some pointers helping him out.
Even though Jay would win the match, Dylan said who ever faced
him next should look out. In the firs round Jay's advice
to Dylan would prove to be effective as Dylan took the first
round. However after that Heath would not loose
again. Heath would take the match.
Dan Vs. Jason
Unfortunately there isn't much
to say about this match. Dan did have the lead in the
second round but Jason would come back and take the match in two
strait rounds. However as far as the pentathlon scoring
goes Dan tied for second with Heath to give him 14 points.
This should be a big advantage for getting 2nd place if he
participates next week. Last year he tied for second in
the CvS 2 tournament.
With a 28 point lead in the
Pentathlon standings Ali didn't bother to show of for this
one. If Tojo or TFS would have came and done well they
very well could have set them selves up for a possible come from
behind win next week. As it was how ever neither of
them showed up. So with only one tournament remaining Ali
has already won the pentathlon. How ever the $50 second
place prize is still up for grabs.
Congrats to Jason on his dominate
tournament performance. Stay tuned for next weed as we
wrap up the.......
