 Bryce Vs. Matt

The first and second place finishers in last years pentathlon.  This was a real slugfest.  Bryce ended up coming out on top in two strait wins.

Ali Vs. Heath

Ali had a good combo down with Gouki.  He tore through Heath in the first round.  Heath was able to adapt and make a close game of the second round but Ali was able to take it.

Jeff Vs. Russ

Jeff came out strong taking it to Russ in the first round.  Russ was able to hold him off and mount a great come from behind win.  Russ would also end up taking the match.

Jeff  Vs. Bryce

This was a back and forth match.  In the first round Jeff dominated with Ken over Bryce's Morgan.  Then in the second round Bryce would turn the tables and win big.  In the third round Jeff would put away the match for the win.

Bryce Vs. Heath

To of Game Hits' old schoolers would battle it out.  In the first round Bryce would win with a big combo with Morgan.  In the second round Bryce would again hammer Heath with a special taking the match.

Russ Vs. Heath

This match promised to be a good one.  Both players have played the game alot.  Russ would come out and take the first round with Tabasa.  Heath would then build a good lead over Russ with Morgan in the second round.  Russ would try to make a come back but Heath got him with a wicked special.  In the final round they would go back and forth in one of the closest matches of the night Russ would edge him out.

Greg Vs. Ali

Ali took the first round.  But in the second round Greg tied it up with an impressive show of skill.  In the final round they slugged it out back and forth but then the momentum shifted to Ali's favor as he but him away easily.

David Vs. Heath

This could also have been called David Vs. Goliath.  Ok so maybe Heath isn't THAT good, but as far as experience with this game he sure had the advantage.   David would take Felicia to two strait wins over Heath's Sakura

Bobby Vs. Russ

This was also a stunner.   Bobby used Ryu against Russ's Tabasa and took the first round.  In the second round with only 9 seconds left Russ was able to tie it up.  Then in the third match Bobby would win in what would be another cliff hanger.

Jeff Vs. Heath

Heath would win the first round solidly.  Then Jeff would tie things up.  In the end Heath would take the final round.

Bryce Vs. Taiyon

Even though Bryce got off to a rough start he quickly learned the ropes.  He ripped though Taiyon's Akuma with Morgan in two strait one sided rounds.

Jeff Vs. Greg

The two friends from flint.  Jeff with Ken and Greg with Tabasa.  In a relitivly close first round Jeff would take the first round.  In the second round Greg would dominate.  In the third round Greg would deal out more of the same punishment taking the match.

Ali Vs. Russ

No matter what in this match Ali had the tournament.  Everyone had at least two losses, and Ali had none.  Ali was battling for a sweep of the tournament and Russ was battling for second place all to him self.   Russ would use Zangief and Ali would use... of course Gouki.  In the first round Russ would come out strong pounding him down.  Then Ali would turn the tables only to loose the first round.  The second round was also close, but Ali would have the edge and take it.  In the third round a slugfest would ensue.  The match could have gone either way, but in the end Ali would edge out Russ in a match worthy of the final showdown.

Congrats to Ali for taking a commanding lead in the......

Capcom Pentathlon 3
